What we can help with

For iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, at home in Dorset or anywhere in the UK.

Setting up and moving across

New iPhone, iPad or Mac? We'll set it up properly and move your photos, messages, passwords and apps across, so nothing gets left behind.

Fixing problems

Something not working as it should? We'll find out why and sort it, whether it's email, Wi-Fi, iCloud or an error message you can't get past.

One-to-one lessons

Step-by-step lessons on the things you actually use, at your own pace and in plain English. Ideal if you're new to Apple or just want more confidence.

Speed, storage and battery

Phone full, Mac slow, battery not lasting the day? Most devices can do a lot better with the right settings and a proper tidy-up.

Getting more from your devices

Apple adds new features every year and most people miss the best ones. We'll show you what's worth turning on, and what's changed when an update arrives.

Help whenever you need it

If you'd like someone on call, a retainer gives you hours to use whenever something comes up, remotely or in person.

How a remote session works

Most things can be sorted without a visit, wherever you are in the UK.

  1. 1

    We agree a time

Book a session and tell us what's going on. We'll reply, usually within a working day, to arrange a time that suits you.

  2. 2

    You let us in

On a Mac we use Apple's own Screen Sharing, which connects through your Apple Account. You approve the request, so nothing happens without your OK.

  3. 3

You watch as we sort it

You can see everything we do and end the session at any time. We explain as we go, so you know exactly what changed.

iPhone or iPad? We'll agree the easiest way to connect when we book. Rather we came to you? We visit homes across Dorset, and travel within 3 miles of our base is included.

Alex was really helpful when I needed help with my printer. He is very knowledgeable and I won’t hesitate to ask him to help me again in the future. He was recommended to me by friends. Many thanks Alex.

Alex, founder of iHelp

Hi, I'm Alex.

I've spent twelve years helping people with their Apple devices, and a lot longer than that following Apple closely, from the big events to the small details most people miss. That passion turned into a career, starting at an Apple Premium Reseller in Dorset, and eventually into iHelp. I still train on Apple's own retail courses, so I'm on top of every release. When you come to iHelp you deal with me directly, so you get someone who cares, knows their stuff and will always give you a straight answer.

Not sure what you need?

Tell us what's going on and we'll come back to you with the best way to sort it. Quick questions are free with iHelp AI.
